About Nathan

Nathan was born and raised in Cincinnati's historic East End. A proud graduate of Cincinnati Public Schools, he went on to attend the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Organizational Leadership in 2013. Go Bearcats!

During his time at UC, Nathan became actively involved in politics. Early in his collegiate career, he discovered libertarianism and joined the Libertarian Party in 2012. Since then, he has remained deeply engaged in advancing the principles of individual liberty and limited government.

Over the years, Nathan has served in several leadership roles within the Libertarian Party, including Communications Director for the Libertarian Party of Ohio and Ohio delegate to the Libertarian National Convention. He currently serves as Chair of the Libertarian Party of Hamilton County, where he works to grow the movement and engage voters throughout the region.

Committed to public service and effective governance, Nathan later earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Government and Policy from Grand Canyon University. His education, leadership experience, and dedication to civic engagement continue to shape his efforts to serve his community and advocate for policies that expand individual freedom and personal responsibility.

What is a Libertarian?

Libertarianism is a political philosophy founded on the belief that individuals should be free to live their lives as they choose, provided they respect the equal rights and freedoms of others. Libertarians emphasize personal responsibility, individual liberty, and limited government, trusting people and communities to make decisions for themselves rather than relying on government mandates.

In practice, libertarians seek to maximize freedom in both personal and economic matters. They support free speech, privacy, property rights, free markets, and equal treatment under the law, while advocating for a government focused on protecting individual rights rather than controlling personal choices. At its core, libertarianism is guided by a simple idea: a freer society is a more prosperous, innovative, and just society.
